Classically trained through the Royal Conservatory of Music - Graduating with first-class honours
Completed two years of study at Capilano College Commercial Music Program
Continuing education at (VCC) Vancouver Community College in the Ensemble Jazz Band Program
Past teacher of piano studies to private students.

Club act 'The b-Sides' toured across Canada and North Western United States. Awarded Best Club Act, West Coast Music Awards 1983.
